Hospice CNA

The hospice aide is a paraprofessional member of the interdisciplinary group who works under the supervision of a registered nurse and performs various services for a patient as necessary to meet the patient's personal needs and to promote comfort.  The hospice aide is responsible for observing the patient, reporting these observations and documenting observations and care performed. The hospice aide will be assigned in a manner that promotes quality, continuity and safety of a patient's care.

Hospice RN

The registered nurse plans, organizes and directs hospice care and is experienced in nursing, with emphasis on community health education/experience.  The professional nurse builds from the resources of the community to plan and direct services to meet the needs of individual and families within their homes and communities.

Home Care Consultant

We have an opportunity in our Business Development Department for two full-time Home Care Consultants.  The primary responsibilities of these positions are community education and referral generation. Professional communication skills, outstanding work ethic and strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task are required. Individuals who have a strong background in sales are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be dynamic, self-motivated and be willing to make business to business phone calls on a daily basis. Greater Kansas City Area

Administration Specialist

Integrity Home currently has a full time opening for an Administrative Specialist. The position is responsible for providing administrative support and assistance to the executive staff including managing record requests companywide.  Essential duties and responsibilities include typing correspondence, reports and other documents. Attend departmental meetings; preparing notes and action items as needed.  Provide support to CIA in internal and external audit activities as assigned.  Research and assist with the preparation of presentations, policies and procedures.  Prepares reports by collecting, researching and analyzing information.  Compile, review and edit reports on performance and compliance metrics.  Schedule, organize and prepare agendas for meetings.  Responsible for complying and tracking all requests for Patient Clinical Records for Compliance Audits from State or Federal Entities.  Responsible for completing and tracking all record requests from attorneys, insurance companies and third party requestors.  Register staff for meetings/events, make travel accommodations as needed. Compile lists and mail follow up surveys to discharged clients.  Complies with Compliance Plan.  Complies with HIPAA Policies. Maintains confidentially of information relating to the patient and family. Will discuss only those aspects necessary to the care and treatment of patient and family with those directly involved in the patient’s care. Performs other related and incidental duties as required or assigned.

Education:  Two year degree in healthcare, business, communications or related field is preferred.

 

Experience:  One (1) year experience in the healthcare or home care office setting is preferred. One (1) year experience in an administrative support role is preferred. 

In-Home Nursing Supervisor

 

 

 

Supervises the day-to-day coordination and delivery of skilled nursing services and performs related divisional teaching/visit duties to ensure the highest quality of care.  Directly assists in the supervision of Administrative Assistant and (IH LPN & RN) Field Staff. 

Provides assistance in the development and implementation of the client’s plan of care. Review and document state and company paperwork, in compliance with current policies. Perform data entry and have efficient computer skills. Provides communication with ancillary departments, clients, nurses, physicians and family. Participates in education, quality assessment activities, and other staff meetings as requested. Performs client visits as needed with authorization by DSDS, in accordance with the physician’s treatment plan, individual plan of care, or as authorized by the client’s payor’s source. Observes documents and timely reports any changes in the client’s condition to the appropriate personnel and/or physician. Provides ongoing instruction and education of client’s health care plan to family and or other health team personnel. Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives.  Perform client visits as needed with authorization by DSDS, which may include but are not limited to routine nurse visits, reassessments and Advanced Personal Care (APC) training and visits. Prepares and submits timely written documentation as required by policy. May provide staff training to include APC Certification, appropriate follow-up and in-service presentation.  Supports supervision, instruction, development, and counseling and performance evaluation of field personnel, including documentation of such activities. Ensures that delivery of In-Home Services is delivered in compliance with company/state policies. Performs other job-related duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Graduate of an approved School of Practical/Vocational Nursing and current state Registered Nurse license. Six (6) months experience as a practical/vocational nurse in a hospital, nursing home or home care setting within the last three (3) years is preferred. Must have previous office experience.

PDN Nursing Supervisor

We currently have an opening for a full time Nursing Supervisor for our Private Duty Nursing Department.  This position will be responsible for ensuring competency of nursing staff providing direct care to PDN clients. This position will also develop and maintain ongoing relationships with clients, family and case workers in order to best meet the needs of the clients.

Qualified applicants must have an active Missouri & Kansas RN license with at least 3 years expirence.  Prefer minimum six months’ experience in the direct care of special needs children, the elderly, disabled or infirmed.

PCAs/CNAs

The KC/Columbia offices have a Medicaid Services Community Liaison position open.
